Microbiology consists of Bacteriology, Infectious Disease Serology, Mycobacteriology and Molecular Microbiology laboratories located at Monash Medical Centre Clayton. A 24 hour service is provided enabling urgent tests to be processed by dedicated Microbiology scientists thus providing the same level of care irrespective of the time of day. An extensive range of tests are assayed in-house providing rapid turnaround time for results.
