Services include:
- Autoimmune Serology: Testing for rheumatic diseases including ANA, ENA, dsDNA and scleroderma associated antibodies. Diagnostic testing for various organ specific autoantibodies associated with vasculitis (ANCA, GBM), membranous glomerulonephritis (PLA2R), coeliac disease (tTG, DGP) and autoimmune liver diseases.
- Flow Cytometry and Cellular Immunology: Testing includes immunophenotyping for the enumeration of T-, B- and NK-cells. Flow cytometry analysis is also performed on a variety of specimens including blood, bone marrow, tissue biopsies and fluids for the diagnosis and monitoring of leukaemia and lymphoma. Specialised flow cytometry assays including screening tests for Paroxysmal Nocturnal Haemoglobinuria (PNH) and Hereditary Spherocytosis (HS), estimation of Foetomaternal Haemorrhage (FMH) and cellular function testing for neutrophil oxidative burst and phagocytosis are also available.
